Maison du Docteur Curutchet

A doctor’s house-and-clinic. On a narrow urban site, courtyard and ramp stack to keep inside and outside continuous.
Important as his only realized house in South America. Read the split between clinic and dwelling, and light brought in by the courtyard, as an urban version of the Five Points.
Highlights
- Courtyard — On a lot hemmed in by neighbors, how is the sky captured?
- Ramp — How does circulation separate clinic from living?
